Anniversary Special!!!

Apparently I really like to write blogs to my loved ones on their occasions. Here’s a post to my sweet, adventurous, delightful husband for our second wedding anniversary.

Dear Hubby

The day I met you, my life has changed????? NO!!! Rather the day I met you, I met my CRIME Partner, I met the person with whom I can fulfill all my dreams, and you are the executor of all my plans!

All I feel and realize how easy it really is to go through tough times and daily life with our best friend. No matter what the situations are, what matters most is that we are dealing it together? Every single MOMENT WE SPENT OUR BIKE RIDES, our random movie plans, plans at tea, long drives, together is precious.

I know I don’t always show it, but I am thankful for the time we have spent together.
We really have been through a lot, haven’t we?

We’ve had our highest of highs and lowest of lows.

Separate and together, we’ve been through some trying times. Just like any other couple, we fight, we make up, we get over it, and eventually, we laugh.

Before starting with this blog today I thought of poring over old photos of us trying to relive the scene, I’ve relished those moments we spent together, photos of our fun moments, times when everything seemed a lot simpler, with less struggle and balance and things to worry about. But all of the pictures, regardless of scenes behind made me felt so happy, because it’s you and me.

I can remember the first moment that I saw your face. You were looking at me as I am a different species and I was annoyed by your look, yet you seem very familiar to my heart. I was in my own mess of love at that time and didn’t believe in love much. Somehow you managed to steal my heart and we began our life journey together four years back.

We thought we knew each other well when we were dating, and we went into marriage with healthy hearts. We so knew about so many of the marital and family issues we would likely face. Many unexpected challenges along the way gonna come, but I had faith in you and your support and love which gave me all strength to be ready to be tied into wedding knot.

But no matter how well I thought I knew you, being your wife and living with you for two years have taught me many new things about you.

We’ve experienced a lot during these 2 years of marriage, there have been tears and conversations, frustration & fights. But there have been such happy, beautiful, perfect moments, too: times when we couldn’t smile big enough, or laugh loud enough, or hug each other tight enough.
Since the moment we started our life journey, you have been my best friend and my life. We both have a weird, silly side to us that perfectly match. You like long Rides, food and capturing moments and so do I. I’ll always admire your sense of adventure. The way you want to experience every little thing that place has to offer. The curiosity you have for exploring places we visit, the way you want to find the best breakfast across town and hunt for hidden adventure place has, so connects me with you, because that is what I am inside.
Sometimes you behave father to me.

Sometimes you irritate me with your advice, but I always know that those are true and glad you are alongside me.

Sometimes you annoy the hell out of me.

You spend so much time on your mobile with headset on and you can’t hear what I am saying.

Sometimes you ask so many questions just to irritate me.

You don’t talk to me or don’t even look at me when you are angry, and you keep staying like that for hours or even for days.

But still I love all those things too.

For our rest of life I want you always to lift me up when I am down, always encourage me and support me on working out my plans. I might go fat or skinny, beautiful or ugly, I want you to admire me always. I want you to always think about my happiness and comfort.

I love you more than yesterday and surely less than tomorrow. On this wonderful day, I wish more years to be with you and grow old together. Happy anniversary!!! (I know I am late in writing, but it takes time to put your 4 years on paper along with 500\1000 Rs disturbance: P)

We don’t know what the next phase of our lives looks like, or when it will begin, but we do know one thing, and it’s that we will both be here for each other. Just like before.

Looking back at the last 2 years of our lives makes me smile and stronger. We have good days, and I love those. We have bad days, and I learn from those. We had tears, I want to wipe off bad memories with them.

You are my very best friend. You are my partner in crime, and I will always have a fantastic life with you.

Thank you for being my husband, and here’s to another year of you being you, me being me, and us being us.

Ooooo My PAPA I love you so much!!!

Ooooo My PAPA I love you so much!!!

Today I was sitting n sipping tea in morning, and was surfing my old pics on mobile. More I went in to archives I saw the moments spent with you. Good moments, we laughing uncontrollable laughs. Those long walks, chatting sessions, you preparing tea for us.

Today I realized I have not thanked you enough for all the efforts you put for us. And I am sure word can never be enough.

You are always in my chats whenever I talk to my friends. I realized whenever your topic comes up I just can’t stop myself without sharing all the memories you have given to us.

Hmmm, from where to start????

Srinagar may be? Though it is one faded memory in my mind, I don’t remember much. But is it true?? That we used to go for walks early morning, you me and Gunjan??? I also remember when you used to come back from and bringing cherries and melodies for us…

That was one episode of our life, but then starting from our Schools…

PAPA :( :( you never visited our schools????? I used to think why you dnt come when everybody else’ dad used to come, but don’t know, today when I think of it I relate that may be it was for our good, we wouldn’t have been this strong and independent.

But in entire year your one gesture of picking us up from bus stand and treating us with ORANGE ice-cream at the time of our Final exams used to take off all our complaints away J

You scolding us on filling ANY FORMS(Yeeee “G” likha hai???) used to take our hearts out, but today I found the reason.

Your all small efforts have today made us so independent that we can do all we want on our own.

Even your push for studies and household work has made us so flexible, I must say I am proud to say that I am not FRAGILE… being rough and tough is so important now a days.

By the way how can I forget you checking our notebooks everyday after office, if we were studying well or not? You forcing us to read newspapers had a silent motto behind.

You remember you used to make us bread rolls and sweet bread, that was awesome?

Gardening with you, playing badminton, watching TV and having dinner with you… When all the kiddos used to eat in your plate. Hahahah one chappati 6 shares :) :) awesome… Wani and Nanu can also relate to this…

I remember you used to be on Canteen and call us for chitchat, be it carrier, marriage or studies.

Shopping with you is another fun, you never compromised on quality or brand, and you have always bought us the best you can. Despite of the fact that you were single earning hand, I am amazed how you have brought us up with all that quality food, living standard and off course the best studies.

The way you used to scold us for studies and other things nobody can ever imagine you can be equally fun loving. We have enjoyed each and every single second spent with you on trips.

You remember or longest walk of 17 KMs to Goniana, it was one awesome time we spent walking and talking....

I don’t think so if I will ever be that comfortable with anybody the way I am with you on trips, our small pit stops for tea and snacks, clicking pictures, fights over petty issues and off course shopping.

Papa how do you manage so many qualities???

I must say, and I am sure Gunjan, Mummy and Rishu will also agree with me, our stint at Amritsar was one another awesome episode of our lives.. We never had more fun than that ever.

You picking us from airport and directly taking to Poori wala, I miss that, Tikki wala, malls was so much fun…

Our long walks in rose garden, you taking us for skating in rose garden, teaching us how to drive a car, I miss that.

Our trip to Singapore was another fun...

I have so many things to write and share, many things I don’t even remember which you have done for us silently, but all I can say is, you are the best DAD, BOSS, Mentor and above all the best human being I have ever met. You are our HERO J LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH….

The way you have taught us on each stage of our lives, values of relationships. You now how to bond family and it is just way apart from rest.
Your extra efforts of writing encouraging letters and sharing good thoughts to help us to come out of difficult situations. you just know the trick to steal hearts...

10 days, 6 states, 1 destination Rider Mania!!!

10 days, 6 states, 1 destination Rider Mania!!!
Delhi – Haryana – UP – MP – Maharashtra – GOA
Delhi – Agra – Gwalior – Jhansi – Sagar – Narsinghpur – Chindwara -  Nagpur – Amravati – Aurangabad – Pune – Kolhapur – GOA!!!
We are back on wheels!!!
Buying things never makes me happier than being on a trip. Spending money on experiences like this always give you much more happiness. Taking an off from my regular routine and office tussle and being on road is always exciting!!
Riding for me is just not moving from place to place-- it's a different experience every time I ride.
I still remember how it all started, years back my brother had a passion for motorcycles, but I never really thought about riding a motorcycle. For me it was always collecting cute souvenirs, colorful tickets and many other things which used to give me happiness, something people normally do right? But riding hadn't given it more than a passing thought.
My interest in riding started with a sudden thought, which forced me to call Rishabh (my Bro), [ANU] “How about a trip to Leh?”[Rishabh] On bike??? Why Not? : P
His one YES gave my thought a direction and today is the day, I never say no to RIDE. Too early to say that I have fallen in love with motorcycles but yes riding and trips I am always on.
But once you ride, especially your first few times on a highway, you just experience the moment. You don't think about what just happened or what's going to happen. You don't even think about what is happening. You just experience the moment as you fly down the highway. The wind is so loud that you can't hear anything else, every time I hit highway and see the landscapes, couldn't help but say "wow" inside my helmet.
This time we have planned for RM – Nagpur
Few months back, Jatin(My Hubby) gave me a call asking if I wanted to go on RM - Nagpur 2016 by “FLIGHT” . My first thought was, “uh FLIGHT???  I straight forwardly said, “I am not going to fly to Nagpur”.
[Jatin] : then “How about a RIDE? Delhi to GOA!”  Now he had my attention. This is going to be AWESOME!
Jatin organized everything for me, my Riding gears, Jacket, helmet everything we need on a ride. I now have awesome new stuff for the 2016 Ride.
Our Excitement started with the Pre-Ride Meet of the ROYAL BEASTS at Dhaba.
We spent a couple of hours talking about the trip, maps, Routes etc..  And then got our orientation for the ride.    Wow!   So many different people, so little time!    10 days, 6 states, 1 destination Rider Mania!!!
By now I have already prepared myself for less luggage, yeah if it is bike ride I cannot take my favorite lotL. But but but excitement of being on road and exploring new places is definitely going to overcome my sadness soon.
Long back I applied for my leaves for 10 awesome days!!! Kept on preparing my colleagues from last 3 months, “don’t miss me guys: P will be back in 10 days.”
And the week has arrived when it is only 3 days left for the ride. We were yet not clear on what to pack what to leave, okay let me not say “WE”, “I” wasn’t very sureL. How to pack? Or what should I pack for Ride or Nagpur or Event or GOA?
I am sure all girls reading this will understand: P
Tough to decide, different weather conditions. But still managed to pack our bags.
Final day, obviously for Jatin, since biking and his group rides is his passion, he couldn’t sleep even for a single moment a night before. Surprisingly he woke me up at 5:30 AM to get ready for the RIDE, and he was already up and ready from 4:30 AM. Hahaha his excitement level was already on the top.
Day 1:  Approx. 450 KMs Delhi - Jhansi
We were supposed to meet at a common meeting point in Delhi at 6 AM.
First day of our trip was going to reach till Jhansi so everyone geared up and started the ride.  We went pretty slow as it was city streets and we had a big group. It was planned with pit stops after almost 80 – 100kms. But the weather conditions and chilling winds made us all stop much before to have a small tea break.
Next stop was to a restaurant. City highway, lots of traffic and we were zipping around. Quickly we made it to the restaurant and had paranthas. Uff this was 1st long stop and trust me, riding as a pillion rider has lots of different views, thoughts and challenges.
There are many different thoughts keep on hitting your mind. One thought, looking on the road, watching people pass by. Observing different vehicles, looking at beautiful landscapes and the very next moment you feel like listening to music.
I tried listening to music many times on ride but it was just not comfortable with helmets. I kept on checking other pillion riders, how they were doing it. Well I had to pass time so I have this peculiar habit of adding vehicle numbers with different ways, hahaha just a way to pass time.
Soon I got bored, this was the 1st ride I took a nap L. It is just not safe.
It got dark, and we had a trail of bikers and we were heading the lot. The last 50 kms were not that exciting since everybody was tired so none of us was ripping hard or even overtaking other fellow riders. Now we needed some sleep and food.
On this ride, I was not very familiar with other girls riding with us. When Jatin told me about the gang, not even a single name which I could relate to.
But soon after stopping at hotel, and little chit chat with Ridhi & Sim eased out my hitch.
I was in a complete mood to take shower and quickly go to bed as I was badly tired. I thought of skipping dinner, but somehow Ridhi convinced me for spending at least half an hour with group and then hitting the bed.
Though I wasn’t convinced ;) but said yes, trust me saying yes was worth it.
Looking at Beasters’ gossip, their jokes and shaayari session took my fatigue off. Soon we decided for next day take off.
Day 2:  Approx 460 Kms Jhansi - Chindwara
I woke up tired and felt like I needed another couple of hours sleep but the moment I got a cup of tea, I was up & fresh like never. We pulled out of the parking lot to the highway and started asking route towards Lalitpur & Sagar. We all started together in a group of 10 bikers, but soon after we realized few of our fellow bikers took a different route. Then thought of continuing and meeting others somewhere near Lalitpur.
Today our target was to touch Chindwara as few of other riders who already were on roads from past 5 days were to meet us at common meeting point.
Ride to Jhansi - Nagpur passes through some of the most breathtaking, and awe-inspiring landscapes. Every time I think of exploring countries, India inspires me with its beautiful landscapes, Wide roads and awesome weather.
The last one hour ride before Chhindwara was kick ass, mindboggling leans took my heart almost to my mouth. But soon after we reached our destination, especially after the last stretch over the Ghats, it was as thrilling as a roller costar ride!!!
We again were tired but excitement of being on roads for next 8 more days was definitely exponentially greater than our fatigue.

Day 3: OFF to Nagpur – RM 2016
It was just 150 kms, and we were at the event.
Our group made an entry to the venue in good 30 minutes, soon after completing the formalities we got our rooms to stay for next 3 days.
Setup was half constructed due to the goof up done by the resort owner, but more than the setup our group was looking forward for the excitement of being at RIDER MANIA
3 days on road, no sleep, hard riding and below par food L We badly needed some enjoyment.
Finally comes the best part of the trip, DANCE and MUSIC. Not sure about others in the group, but the moment those beats went into our ears, Me and Maitry ran towards the stage area.
There was this funny rock band which grabbed a lot of attention. Soon after DJ started and and and who cares what time it is, whether day or night, people are around or not. Dance is one thing I can die for. It was 3 am and we were still fully charged to dance. Bring us more music please! Maitry and I was in full mood of dancing whole night.
But L DJ had to leave, now was the time to hit bed. This was long due, I so badly wanted this.
Next day we woke up, the pool at the venue grabbed our attention and we stopped and took no time in jumping into the cold water and the remaining were forcefully thrown in the pool.

3 days in Nagpur just passed by dancing, chit chatting, gossiping and off course jumping into icy cold water.

And the day came when we had to leave for GOA now. Yahoo another round of trip is about to start! Go GOA!
Again Ride to Nagpur - Goa passes through some of the most breathtaking landscapes, lovely Ghats.

Nagpur - GOA – 1020 KMs to go!

The endless roads, exciting sounds of Royal Enfield, journey of adventure. Just the thought of exploring new places on bike cannot be replaced in any way. Starting from the corporate jungle in Delhi to the beautiful landscapes to GOA.
Nagpur - Pune
The journey from Nagpur to Pune was not that predictable and comfortable what we thought. The roads are quite unpredictable and bit of bumpy while riding through this part of Maharashtra.
This day plan was to stay at Manas’ cousin’s place, tried our best but still couldn’t make for Pune  same day as we all were quite tired, Riding always go hand in hand with safety of fellow riders, so with a common consent of group we all planned to stay at Aurangabad and then started early morning for Pune and hitting for GOA by the Night.
Oops how can I forget, Pillow we stole from hotel :P, it was super funny to steal pillows and hiding them in our jackets…

This stretch of trip offered a chance to witness small valleys, vast grass lands and Ghats down to PUNE city. Soon we took a break in Pune for Lunch. From Pune it’s another 8-9 hours journey to Goa. But our duration changed because of our small pit stops for tea & Lunch and obviously changes in weather conditions. Unfortunately Pune was a long stay because of mechanical issues with our Bikes. Had a lovely stop at one of the biker’s Café – Coffee Jar in Pune.
After a long break we started for Goa at 7:30 PM, fueling up are bikes. We all had made up our minds for GOA tonight. Come what may!
But again coming to safety, our group never gave a second thought even for a single second and we stopped at Kolhapur. Kolhapur was a funny stay, of checking in at 1 AM and leaving sharp at 5 AM from hotel to GOA. We hardly took off our gears and slept.
Next day morning we all started our ride with Awesome breakfast at Tawandi Ghat. The scenic beauty of the route is something that no camera can capture to the fullest. What a lovely greenery, beauty of hills, snake roads, Beautiful Villages. Just cannot take those sugarcane farms, tea stops at villages and bunch of butterflies out of our minds.
Finally we hit GOA! “WELCOME TO GOA”

Finally we were ready to hit the beaches of Goa. We decided to land at Vagator beach where we had our pre booked resort. Cannot wait any more to see the famous long stretched white sand beaches of Goa. Every time I visit GOA I think of waking up early and hit the beach for an early walk. 1st day in GOA we thought of exploring Vagator beach. Started with a cold dip in water and a lovely photo-shoot with GANG of Girls.

Vagator is a rocky but one quite beach far from the hustle-bustle of crowds. Chit chat session at beach for hours with calmly drowning Sun at the backdrop!!! Must say the experience of sitting at beach enjoying the sea shore with friends and food definitely takes you away from the gadgets you are clenched all day back at work.
Not even for a single second I thought of mails, phone or facebooking. I am sure nobody did.

This is how Goa is, it does make you feel relaxed. Our overall experience of Goa was fantastic. From beaches to markets to rides on roads, it was fun and relaxing all the way and I am sure these holidays were much awaited for everybody.

Best part of GOA was exploring DudhSagar Falls!!!

What an experience, for Dudhsagar it takes 2 hours’ drive, 45 minutes off-roading to jungle and then 2 kms walk to Falls. Believe me the view after all these 3 hours was worth it.
The breathtaking view from there, made the difficult journey worthwhile.

The surroundings with forests, Rocks, butterflies, birds, just add to the charm of the place.
Swimming in the lake formed by the waterfall is yet another adventure. It is safe to take a quick dip as GOA tourism provides life jackets once you buy tickets. So jumping in still water is not a challenge.
But somehow I could not gather guts to jump in. God it was scary as everybody who jumped before me explained about deep water. Somehow Jatin helped me getting into water and gave a tour of the Pond :P.
Trust me once you are in the water you will never think of coming out. Cold fresh water, watching falling water from 1000 feet was worth it.

But once you are out of water your body is completely in pain, we all were too tired to utter even a single word while coming back from falls. Took a stop at market, everybody bought stuff for friends and family and headed to resort.

Our day 9, as planned was for relaxing and spending some time on the beach, so we all planned for Arambol Beach in day and then to have our dinner at Curlies, Anjuna Beach. Maggie session, Photo shoot with street dogs and lighting lamps was fun.

Final day has come, it was our last day in GOA and our vacation was coming to its end.
Even a thought of going back to same busy corporate jungle was giving all of us a heart attack. But it was one trip gave us so many memories to cherish. Starting from riding, wide roads, pit stops, Ghats, grasslands, lovely food, friends, dance, music, exploring cities, falls and beaches one complete trip one can ask for.
Our return journey was booked so we left Goa in flight at 4:00 PM and reached home at 8 PM same day.
With this our memorable, adventurous trip had come to an end. We have returned to our home with loads and loads of good memories.....
The fun we had over these 10 days is unmatchable. Love you guys for making those days so so special for us. Waiting for all to share beautiful moments they captured in their cameras soon.
Signing off till next ride!!!

As they say UNIQUELY SINGAPOREà it is surely UNIQUE please see below, you will be shocked

Here is the whole story of inconvenience that has been caused by Spring Travels and Singapore word wide Incentives.

Day one: We landed in Singapore, chauffeur drove us to our hotel.. which was not the hotel we were told or asked for. We had Hotel Bencoolen in the itinerary provided to us by Spice Holidays and they had further collaboration with Spring Travels whose agent dropped us to Hotel “ 81” in area called Bencoolen which was pathetic to stay. We paid for a 4 star hotel as I mentioned in my earlier mail but they dropped us in this mess. Moreover we enquired there was actually a Hotel called Bencoolen which was a three star, but they told us that we didn’t have any booking for the same.Above all The receptionists and other hotel staff at “Hotel 81” could laugh at us (This is Singapore!! Waoz)Now to further worsen the situation they (Hotel 81) had no room for us at that time, the hotel people asked us to roam around till they give us the room.We reached there at 8:30 Am and they said the check-in is at 2:00 PM in whole Singapore, which was not conveyed to us by our travel agents and was also not mentioned in the itinerary , after waiting for 1-2 hrs at hotel reception, they provided us a room to fresh up that too un-cleaned and after sometime they gave us one more room for stay but that was not at all bearable. They took our itinerary and did not return and they provided us with a new itinerary which was a different from the one we were given by our agent from INDIA. We called up our agent in INDIA and asked them to change our hotel, they could not make much effort as there were many people involved. Our agent in India was in proper contact with us and was trying to resolve the problem and he gave us the Singapore’s Agent Fredy’s contact who was indeed of no help, he never appeared. At the end after lot of International calls and botheration we got an assurance from our Agent that we will get a hotel shift at 8:30 AM in the morning.
Day Two: As we were assured the hotel shift at 8:30AM, to no surprise the agent didn’t turn up and we started a series of calls again. We were taken to Universal Studio. Mean while whole day we were rather than enjoying our trip was on calls with our Agents for Hotel shift so that we could enjoy our holiday like a normal holiday. We heard that the hotel shift will happen in the evening. Also We thought Singapore to be an Internationally recognized Metropolitan city and a good Host but we found it to be a total opposite. Their behavior towards INDIAN’s was awfully horrible. I should say they were doing RACISM. We would not recommend anyone to visit Singapore would strongly discourage people to visit this city.
Day Three: After getting the Hotel change finally (OASIA), to our surprise and to add to our botheration more, we got to know that our whole day is free we do not have anything to do. Whereas our itinerary had a different story to tell. Again a series of calls started, we discussed this with our agent in India that this is happening and he called his counterparts in Singapore and discussed if the program is not happening according to the itinerary provided, we came to an agreement which was again not followed COOL isn’t it!!!Finally we had to agree to whatever the agents in Singapore told us as we had no choice. We went ahead with the tour.

Special Mention:1. We were not even provided with the things mentioned in the itinerary. Which includes the following
Singapore Hard Rock Café discount coupon with one complimentary drink each pax.
Free post card each pax.
Downtown Duty Free shopping card.
Half day tour without Orchid Gardens (we have not been taken to Orchid grdn)
2. Dinner & Transportation: Dinners were not arranged in the hotel of stay, rather it was somewhere far in the city at some substandard place, for where there was no transportation back to Hotel was provided late Night. We had to arrange that on our own. After all this botheration and hostility we would not recommend Singapore visit.
Rather than enjoyment we got the mental harassment caused by the travel Agents and Singaporians. This was a dream trip for us and it turned up to be a WORST NIGHT MARE of our life time, where we ended up wasting out hard earned money and time. Wish we had never dreamt or visited Singapore.
